This publication contains four historical documentaries about (1) the German POW camp that existed in Sale Creek in 1945, (2) the history of the Sale Creek coal mines and the 1994 reclamation efforts to close the open mines and air shafts, (3) the specter that haunts the Burton Hollow area in the Coulterville part of Sale Creek, (4) the mail train era from 1880 until 1967. Includes 43 photographs, including two Google Earth aerial pictures of affected areas in #1 and #3 above.
